My wife and I are getting requests from friends at random to play D&D. After picking up the essentials kit and the players handbook, we both made characters. Even if it's just me and my wife, I feel almost nervous and my wife confessed she feels the same. Is this normal? Did anyone else have this weird apprehension before they started playing? We play board and card games on a pretty regular basis, so starting something new isn't foreign to us. I dunno. It's just odd. #dungeonsanddragons
